Stone tool, Upper Palaeolithic age, the Palaeological Association of Japan (admin., the Museum of Kyoto)

When paintings were done in the Grotte Chauvet or Grotte de Lascaux our ancestors were living in a unique time we call the Paleolithic Period. Some authentic tools of this era are kept in the Museum of Kyoto, these tools were gifted to the Paleological Association of Japan, France. In this workshop, we can view these ancient tools and touch them. Participants will also use reproductions of the tools in a special workshop.
